SUBSTITUTE TEACHING
To become a candidate for substitute teaching at H-F High School District 233, please complete an application online by clicking here. In the field Position Desired, select Substitute Teacher. Be sure to also upload a copy of your Illinois teaching certificate or substitute certificate and college transcripts. Alternatively, credentials can be mailed to HFHS, HR Department, 999 Kedzie, Flossmoor, IL 60422 or faxed to 708-799-8552.
Once your application is completed, it will be reviewed by our Director of Human Resources. If your qualifications meet our needs and there are substitute positions available, we will contact you for an interview. Depending on number of periods worked, our substitutes are paid $90-$138 per day.
Substitute teaching certificates can be obtained through the Region 7 Regional Office of Education, located at 253 W. Joe Orr Road in Chicago Heights and at 708-754-6600.
