Incoming Freshman

Before starting the process, please confirm that the student lives in the HF District 233 Boundaries.

 

In order to register to attend Homewood-Flossmoor Community High School District 233, students must live within district boundaries on a full-time permanent basis (fixed nighttime abode for the pupil). The District 233 residential boundaries include the Villages of Homewood and Flossmoor and portions of Chicago Heights, Glenwood, Hazel Crest, and Olympia Fields. Please confirm that your child lives within our District's attendance area before completing these registration steps. These tools will help:

Once you have confirmed that the students lives in HF's boundaries, complete these steps:

 

Completing the enrollment process provides confirmation that your incoming freshman student intends to attend Homewood-Flossmoor High School in the coming school year. The Phase 1 Residency & Registration process must be completed before students can select their courses. Further information with specific details will be sent to families in December/January on how to complete the process. Completing the 2nd Residency process in Phase 2 assures your student has a schedule and can pick-up materials.

Phase 1: January and February

Phase 1 is now closed to new enrollments and course selections.
Phase 2 will begin in Late June (information forthcoming).

Phase 2: June, July, August
Freshmen Registration Week is June 24 - July 3
