Voyage to Excellence Open House 2017

Area 8th Graders and their families are invited to Homewood-Flossmoor Community High School’s annual Voyage to Excellence Open House on Wednesday, Nov. 29, from 7-8:30 p.m. Incoming families will become acquainted with the school’s curricular and extracurricular programs, and will be able to meet department chairs, teachers, coaches and sponsors.

The evening is meant for exploring. Booths from the school’s academic departments, clubs, sports and activities will be located throughout the North Building Fieldhouse, providing information on their organizations and how to get involved. Impromptu performances by members of the Viking Marching Band, Drumline and Viking Choir and the appearance of H-F’s ZooBot animals will keep the evening entertaining and interesting. Approximately 300 course options are available through H-F's nine academic departments. There are nearly 100 clubs and sports to join, as well, including Underwater Robotics, Viking Broadcasting and Field Hockey.
