Spring Play: She Kills Monsters

She Kills Monsters, a dramatic comedy written by Qui Nguyen, will close the drama season this school year at Homewood-Flossmoor Community High School, running at 7 p.m. May 3-5 in the school’s Mall Auditorium. Directed by Jill Bonavia-Galligani, H-F Fine Arts & English teacher, the play tells the story of a high school teacher, Agnes Evans (senior Joy Woods), as she leaves her childhood home following the death of her teenage sister, Tilly (senior Maggie Sullivan). When Agnes finds Tilly’s Dungeons & Dragons notebook, she stumbles into a journey of discovery and an action-packed adventure in the imaginary world that was Tilly’s refuge. Tickets will be available at the door: $9/adult, $6/student/senior citizen. Presented through special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc., and recommended for high school through adult audiences.
