Homewood-Flossmoor High School District 233 requires proof of residency for all incoming HFHS students for the 2025-26 school year. The intent in verifying residency is to ensure compliance with state law and to fulfill the obligation to District 233 taxpayers that HFHS allocate resources to educate all eligible students who legally reside within district boundaries.
Homewood-Flossmoor School District 233 continues to use the CLEAR public database to automatically verify current family address information. Using this database streamlines the process for district families while still assuring that students enrolled in our school are residents within the boundaries of District 233.
IMPORTANT CHANGE THIS YEAR: Residency verification WILL NOT be processed during Material Pickup Days. To ensure compliance with Residency requirements, families must provide the required proof of residency to HFHS by June 26. If not, students will not be eligible to attend Book & Technology and Material Pickup Days, access their school student(s) schedule, or begin school on time.
If your residency is not verified through the CLEAR process, you will be notified by email to provide documentation in person.
If your residency is verified through the CLEAR process, you will receive an email notification with next steps directions. Please note, you will still need to submit current residency and enrollment documentation electronically in PowerSchool. The residency portal and enrollment forms will be available June 3 - June 26, 2025, and must be completed and submitted to participate in Book & Technology and Material Pickup Days.**
In order to complete your enrollment and registration, you will need the following documents.
