ACT Growth Strategy
In addition to managing assessments, the HF Office of Assessment plays a key role in developing and implementing the district’s ACT improvement strategy. This includes analyzing student performance data, identifying areas for growth, providing research-based recommendations to support instructional planning, and coordinating in-school prep activities during the school day. The office works with school leaders, teachers, and support staff to align resources and initiatives aimed at boosting student readiness and achievement on the ACT.
To support student preparation, the office manages evening test prep programs and creates instructional modules and resources to help students prepare effectively. The office also ensures that staff have a thorough understanding of the exam’s structure and content, providing professional training for teachers where needed to enhance in-class preparation efforts. Through data-driven insights, targeted resources, and collaborative planning, the Assessment Office ensures a focused approach to improving student outcomes on this critical college readiness exam.
