H-F Theatre presents "The Addams Family"

For one weekend in November Homewood-Flossmoor Community High School will present the current musical,The Addams Family, written by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa.

The musical features an original story, and it's every father's nightmare. Wednesday Addams (portrayed by Mandy Sigale), the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man, Lucas (portrayed by Alex Wright), a man her parents have never met. Wednesday confides in her father, Gomez (portrayed by Braxton Williams) and begs him not to tell her mother, Morticia (Alex Lawton). Now, Gomez must do something he's never done before: keep a secret from his beloved wife. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday's boyfriend and his parents.

Public performances are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 13, and Saturday, Nov. 14, at 7 p.m. Tickets ($10/adult, $8/student/senior) will be available at the door. This production is recommended for Grades 5 and up. It will be directed by Jill Bonavia-Galligani, H-F English teacher, and H-F student, Jack Johnson.
