Summer School Fees will resume this summer:

Bus transportation is available:

Summer School Dates:

Summer School Semester 1: June 10-28 (June 19, school closed)
Summer School Semester 2: July 1 - 19 (July 4 & 5, school closed)
Days/Times: Mondays-Fridays, 8 a.m.-12:50 p.m.

ALL SUMMER SCHOOL CLASSES WILL BE HELD IN-PERSON

 

Current HF Students:

  • Summer School Registration will be online, beginning January 16, 2024. 
  • Summer School registration will remain open until April 26, 2024, or until classes are full.

  • Once the form is submitted fees will be put on the student's account.  The online payment system is accessible through the PowerSchool Parent Portal for enrolled students.
  • Submission of the form, alone, does not guarantee registration for the course. 
  • ONCE PAYMENT IS RECEIVED, THE STUDENT WILL BE REGISTERED FOR THE CLASS.

 There will not be an in-person registration day.

 

 

Incoming Freshmen & Sophomores interested in Honors Geometry/Chemistry:

 

Summer School & Summer Academy Registration will begin February 19, 2024,

after Incoming Freshmen Registration is complete.

Please visit the North Associate Principal's office to register and pay. 

Please note: interested students in Honors Algebra 1 or Honors Biology,

must complete the application below, and receive approval before registering.

 

In-Coming Freshmen & Sophomores interested in Honors Geometry and Chemistry:

Once you have proven residency and finalized your 24-25 classes with your counselor, you can visit the North Associate Principal's office, to register for Summer School.  Registration will begin February 19, 2024.

Hours:  Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 2:30pm.

 

The courses below will be available for those incoming Freshmen and Sophomores who meet the following criteria:

  • Honors Algebra 1: Must be registered for Honors Algebra 1 in the Fall to be eligible for the summer
  • Honors Geometry:  Must be registered for Honors Geometry in the Fall to be eligible for the summer
  • Honors Biology:  By Application Only!
  • Honors Chemistry:  By Application Only!

Credit Recovery: 

The courses below are for those students who have failed a class during the school year.

  • English:  English 1, English 2, and English 3
  • Math:  Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2/Trigonometry
  • Science:  Biology, Chemistry, and Physics

 

Social Sciences:

The courses below will be available for students interested in opening their schedule for electives during the school year.

  • World History: CP, Honors
  • U.S. History: CP, Honors
  • U.S. Government/Politics: CP, Honors
  • Economics: CP, Honors

Summer 2024 Driver Education

   

Open to D233 students who will be at least 16 years old on or before Nov. 1, 2024, and have sophomore status. 

Pre-Registration will be ONLINE, March 18, 2024

Summer Driver Education
Classroom Session:

June 3-28  •  Mondays-Fridays  •  2:05-3:50 p.m.

(No Class June 19)

Behind the Wheel Sessions:

Session 1: June 3-10

Session 2: June 11-18

Session 3: June 20-27

Fee: $100

 

You will request a time slot for your student to drive  for 2 hours each day at the following times:  

6a - 8a

8a - 10a

10a -12p

12p - 2p

2p - 4p

4p - 6p 

SPOTS WILL BE FILLED ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS


Students must have completed Driver Education Classroom before taking Behind the Wheel
