Donate to the Viking Fund!
The Viking Fund is Homewood-Flossmoor's annual giving program. It is a vehicle by which alumni, parents and friends of Homewood-Flossmoor can help ensure that HFHS remains strong. Contributions to the Viking Fund can be directed in one of four major ways, including:
Athletic Programs: Help Viking Athletics continue to educate and graduate outstanding young student athletes. Donations to this fund may be used to help offset summer camp tuition, purchase sports equipment and to generally assist all Viking athletes.
Extracurricular Activities: With more than 50 different clubs, activities and extracurricular activities to choose from, H-F students can expand their horizons. Donations to this fund can help travel expenses for band, orchestra, choir and our successful academic teams in addition to special proposals from teachers and academic programs.
Scholarships: Help off-set spiraling higher education costs by supporting a worthy Viking student as they leave H-F to attend college or trade school. Every dollar helps ensure that our bright students are able to afford school beyond their H-F education.
Student Technology Support: When the recent coronavirus forced H-F to quickly move classroom instruction to virtual learning, H-F discovered that many students lacked the proper technology at home. H-F quickly made 600 computers available for student use by refurbishing or purchasing them along with an additional 120+ WiFi hotspots for students lacking home internet service. Students who don't have access to current technology can easily be left behind. Your gift to this fund helps ensure that each student has the same technological access so Any gift you make to this fund will directly help an H-F student complete vital classwork and homework assignments.
