3rd Annual Red & White Golf Classic

Homewood-Flossmoor Community High School's Athletic Department invites the community to participate in its 3rd Annual Red & White Golf Classic, set for Friday, July 21, at Odyssey Country Club in Tinley Park. The event is designed to give athletic alumni, parents and coaches the opportunity to network and socialize with the ultimate goal of raising funds for the H-F Athletic program, which supports more than 75 Viking sports teams.


H-F finishes on top at 43rd Annual Tri-County Art Show

After a year of earning multiple awards at several different art shows, Homewood-Flossmoor Community High School finished on top again — this time at the 43rd Annual Tri-County Junior/Senior High School Art Exhibition, held Sunday, May 7, at South Shore Arts, located inside the Center for Visual and Performing Arts Center in Munster, Ind.


H-F named Illinois Unified Champion School

Special Olympics Illinois is proud to announce that Homewood-Flossmoor Community High School has been selected as the recipient of the 2017 Area 7 Unified Champion School Award.


Academic Awards 2017

Academic Awards for the 2016-17 school year were presented on Monday, May 8, in the Mall Auditorium.​


New Board Members Welcomed May 1

At a special meeting held Monday, May 1, the Homewood-Flossmoor Community High School District 233 Board of Education certified the official results of the April 4 municipal election and welcomed three new members: Steve Anderson, Annette Bannon and Beth Larocca.


Spring Play: "Bob"

Homewood-Flossmoor Community High School will present "Bob: A life in five acts" May 4-6 at 7 p.m. in the school’s Mall Auditorium.


2017 National Honor Society Induction

Congratulations to our newest members of the H-F chapter of the National Honor Society! Members were inducted on Monday, April 24, the same evening our seniors received their NHS cords for graduation. Keynote speaker was Ambassador Susan D. Page, '82.

The Honorable Susan D. Page to speak at NHS Induction

Homewood-Flossmoor Community High School will welcome a Class of 1982 alumna, the Honorable Susan D. Page, back to campus on Monday, April 24. Page is scheduled to be the keynote speaker at that evening’s National Honor Society (NHS) 2017 induction ceremony, where more than 100 seniors will receive their honor cords and approximately 140 underclassmen will pledge to become part of NHS.
