Tutoring Opportunities
H-F provides a number of tutoring
opportunities before and after school for students at no extra cost. We
encourage students who need extra academic help or just want to maintain their
grades to use this valuable resource. H-F offers tutoring in core disciplines
such as Math, Science, and English with H-F teachers serving as the tutors, as
well as peer tutoring opportunities in multiple subject areas with H-F students
serving as the tutors. In addition to tutoring, students are also encouraged to
ask their teachers for assistance as teachers can provide information regarding
progress, homework, upcoming exams/projects, etc. For further information

Private Tutoring
The Guidance Department maintains a tutor list for the students and
families of Homewood-Flossmoor High School. The list is comprised of
individuals that have expressed an interest in tutoring. The tutor's fee is
determined by the individual tutor and payments are the responsibility of
the Parent/Guardian. For further
