Technical Assistance and Support
H-F has a structure
in place to provide technical assistance and support to faculty and
staff. H-F has a Help
Desk to assist staff with hardware and software
problems. A tracking system is in operation to
maintain records on all requests for assistance.
In addition, a software technician and a hardware
technician are available to work on software and hardware problems.
The department secretary/SASIxp operator and Users Center supervisor
are also available to answer questions and provide support. Heading
the department is the Director of Information
Systems. Those needing assistance can phone
or email the
Help Desk, or stop in Computer
Services. Response time for assistance and support is usually
prompt.
