Recommendation:&n= bsp; That the Board of Education adopt the 2011-2012 school calendar in accordance with Procedure 7110, Subsection A.3, from August 15, 2011 to Jun= e 7, 2012 for a total of 185 days, with Institutes on August 15, 2011 and Novemb= er 4, 2011, January 13, 2012 and March 6, 2012 and In-service Days on November 3,= 2011 and May 29 and May 30, 2012, as recommended by the Superintendent.  (Roll Call)

Recommendation:&n= bsp; That the Board of Education authorize the Superintendent to submit t= he program request for the March 8, 2011 Institute to the Suburban Cook County Regional Office of Education, as recommended by the Superintendent.  (Roll Call)

     =            Reco= mmendation:  That the Board= of Education authorize the use and purchase of the textbooks listed on = the Textbook Adoption Form for 2011-12, for the total amount of $192,564.42, as recommended by the Planning Committee, Director of Curriculum, Instruction,= and Professional Development, and the Superintendent.  (Roll Call)      

d.    &nbs= p;        Personnel – Resignations/Employment Contracts/Extra Responsibility  

e.    &nbs= p;        Approval of Expenditures

 

Recommendation:  That the Board of Education approv= e the proposed expenditures in the amount of $1,056,438.34.

 

f.    &nbs= p;        Reimbursement to the Imprest Fund

 

Recommendation:&n= bsp; That the Board of Education authorize the reimbursement to the Imprest Fund in the amount of $48,978.45.<= /span>
