a. November 10, 2006 Institute

Recommendation: That the Board of Education authorize the Superintendent to submit the program request for the November 10, 2006 Institute to the Suburban Cook County Regional Office of Education, as recommended by the Superintendent. (Roll Call)

b. Tuition Rate 2006-07

Recommendation: That the Board of Education establish the annual tuition rate for non-resident students at $12,643.91 per year, $6,321.95 per semester, or $70.64 per day enrolled in the 2006-07 school year in compliance with Section 10-20.12a of the School Code, as recommended by the Business Manager. (Roll Call)

d. Approval of Expenditures

Recommendation: That the Board of Education approve the proposed expenditures in the amount of $1,218,009.29.

e. Reimbursement to the Imprest Fund

Recommendation: That the Board of Education authorize the reimbursement to the Imprest Fund in the amount of $46,165.30.

f. Ratification of Payroll

Recommendation: That the Board of Education ratify the September, 2006 payroll in the amount of $1,611,953.66.

g. Closed Meeting

Recommendation: That the Board of Education move into closed session for the purpose of discussing collective bargaining negotiations, imminent litigation, and employment of specific employees. (Roll Call)
