SUMMARY
Photography 2 is designed to expand upon the techniques and processes learned in
Photography 1. Students should already have knowledge of how a camera works as
well as a basic knowledge of darkroom procedures. Alternative methods will be
taught both in and out of the darkroom. Students will develop compositional and
presentational skills as well as higher level thinking in their photographic
prints. Working towards the mastery of camera and darkroom techniques will be an
ongoing goal of each student. Students will explore career opportunities in the
field of photography. Electronic imaging introduced in Photography 1 will be
expanded upon using computers with PhotoShop software to further develop skills.
Additional out-of-class work will be assigned and any make-up work will require
