Summary:
With Fundamentals of Art and Design and 2D Studio 1, this course
represents a third level course in
the art curriculum sequence. 2D Studio 2 is the continuation of
drawing/painting skills mastered in 2D
Studio 1. Emphasis is placed on the use of imagination and on
developing original compositions.
Technical skills may include the use of opaque watercolor,
transparent watercolor, acrylic painting,
pastel and various drawing media. Work out-of-class is required to
complete assignments. Some
additional supplies are needed at the student’s expense.
