(2D Studio Two) Students are asked to create a realistic rendering of a still life set up
composed of rocks and tools. The tool objects are used to teach the
students proportion, contour drawing and smooth tone value application. The
curvilinear natural shape of the rocks are meant to contrast with the
man-made precision of the tools in this assignment that tests a students
ability to compose, create emphasis, movement, rhythm, balance, unity,
contrast, proportion, transitional value and accurate contour drawing.
