Abstract Faces

The objective of this assignment was to find an object or grouping of objects that in some way resembled a face. The face, however, was not to be staged or set up by the photographer, but instead, discovered in its natural environment. Because of this, students were forced to look more closely at their surroundings and the items within it. The assignment was as much about looking as it was about the actual shooting of the film and the practice of the technique of bracketing.
