 | Sailing Along the Beach   was created by Kristin Jones using Adobe Photoshop. Kristin used her own photograph to use as a resource for this computer painting. The girl, boat, and background were painted on separate layers and combined into a finished composition. To create the ocean, many colors were "smudged" together and filtered multiple times to achieve the appearance of waves. The beach was dotted using a pattern, and then color was "burned in." Together, these elements create a little girl watching her parents sailing on the ocean.
