             Staging a Master Painting as a Photo

KlimtHygieaDtl At left is the original Klimt painting that Marsha chose to mimic. She painted a background and she also painted fabric to serve as a costume for the model.
100_0343 Ms. Helsel helps Marsha prep the model for the shoot. Gold ribbons and other decorative items were used to mimic the detail in the original painting.
100_0346 A live snake was borrowed from the science room for one of the props.
100_0351 The shooting area is prepared and shooting begins.
FridaKhalo This Frida Khalo painting was chosen by Nikki.
100_0353  100_0354 Unibrows were applied with makeup, so that the models resembled the subjects in the painting.
100_0352 A heart (borrowed from the Science department) and tubing with food coloring were used as props in this shoot. Nikki also sewed the costumes for the shoot.
100_0357 A backdrop was painted to resemble the background in the painting. The models were posed, along with the props in preparation for shooting.
