H-F Alumnae Named Student Chef of the Year

 
H-F alumnae Jackie Adamonis ('10) was named the U.S. Student Chef of the Year by the American Culinary Federation this summer in Las Vegas. Jackie received her start in foodservice through H-F's Foodsclasses, then continued her studies at Joliet Junior College's Culinary Arts program. At the national competition, she prepared a red snapper appetizer, followed by a rabbit entree. There was a two-hour time limit with 10 minutes reserved for plating.
