While the H-F community has experienced numerous successes during this school year, we have also endured a number of tragic losses. In response, H-F Crisis Support Team members have consistently been available to assist students in coping with these events. In an effort to provide continued support during winter break, H-F has implemented a plan — including contracted services — that will allow both parents and students opportunities to speak with trained mental-health professionals as needed. Please call the number listed below should you or your child required counseling services during break:
- Perspectives LTD: 708-335-5504 (identify yourself as a H-F student or parent)
The Perspectives counselors will be available on call 24 hours per day from Friday, Dec. 20, until Monday, Jan. 6. Should you feel that you or your child are in need of more immediate support services, the following 24-hour hotlines are able to assist during times of crisis:
- Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 800-273-8255
- Teen Crisis Support Text Line: Text 'CTL' to 741741
It is the hope of us here at H-F that these supports will be of great benefit if needed.
