National Art Honor Society
The National Art Honor Society tries to ensure and recognize those students who have shown outstanding ability in art. Students are eligible after completing three semesters of art. NAHS members must maintain a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale in their art classes. Activities include college visits, museum and gallery trips, and art-related community service. NAHS fosters excellence and a dedicated spirit to the pursuit of art, furthering creative abilities and talents of the members, as well as the school's entire student enrollment. The chapter will aid members in working toward the attainment of their highest potential in an art area and bring art to the attention of the school/community. NAHS will help increase an awareness of art in relation to other areas of the school curriculum while furthering awareness in all aspects of the school's total program.
The club meets from 3:10-4 p.m. in G6 on the following dates:
- Articulation with Parker Junior High & James Hart Junior High
- Spring Student Art Show in April
